Data flexibility and security
When migrating from Sun to UnboundID, you can replicate data with finely tuned control. Our advanced replication capabilities provide you with a choice of filtered, fractional or sub-tree replication scenarios, so you have incredible flexibility in the data you move and where you move it. You can choose to move a subset of attributes (fractional replication) or a subset of entries (filtered replication). And you gain added security because you are not synchronizing all of your data to every directory server – only the data required for meeting specific application needs.
With the UnboundID Synchronization Server, you are free to migrate data at your own pace. You can select to move specific parts of the data model initially and then add the rest of the data over time. This means you can migrate applications and data only as needed for better planning and control.
