Former Sun Sales Executive to Drive Expansion of Directory Services 2.0 Platform

AUSTIN, Texas – February 13, 2009 — UnboundID™ Corp., a developer of identity management software for Internet-driven, consumer-facing architectures, today announced that Steve Almquist was recently appointed to the position of Director of Global Sales. In his new role, Mr. Almquist will lead expansion efforts for the new UnboundID Directory Services 2.0 software platform, which will be launched in the first half of 2009.

Steve Almquist brings to UnboundID over 25 years experience of successfully selling to Global 2000 companies, and has held various worldwide and regional sales management positions. Most recently Mr. Almquist was responsible for identity management software sales for Sun Microsystems telecommunications accounts. There he received the company's highest sales honor when he was named the U.S. Software Sales Representative of the Year for both 2006 and 2008. Previously he held several sales and management positions with Netscape Communications from 1995-1999, where he was the North Central Regional Manager and later became the Central U.S. VP of Sales. Before joining Netscape, Steve worked for Borland International.
