Steve Shoaff, CEO and Founder

Steve defines the vision and overall business strategy for UnboundID. He is internationally recognized as a trusted adviser on identity and security issues for Global 100 companies. At Sun Microsystems, he served as Technical Director and Chief of Staff for the Identity Management product division, as well as Director of Global Engineering and Support for the Directory Server Product Family. At Netscape Communications, he was Senior Product Manager for Directory and Security. He co-founded the OpenDS and SLAMD open source projects and performs technical due-diligence for venture capital firms. He has also been a key technical adviser to the US Department of Justice.

Andy Spillane, Chief Product Officer

Andy provides strategic direction and management of the product and technology organizations for UnboundID. In his role as Chief Product Officer, he is responsible for the company's overarching product strategy, reviewing the market and working with customer advisors to determine the right product offering for customer needs. With a background that includes tenures at leading technology companies such as Netscape, Yahoo!, and AOL, Andy brings over 20 years of experience in design, development, and product management to the UnboundID team. He holds BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Systems Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia.

Andy Land, Vice President of Marketing

Andy Land provides strategic marketing direction for UnboundID. In his current role as Vice President of Marketing, he is responsible for product marketing, corporate branding, and lead generation activities. Previously, Andy served as Director of Product Management for UnboundID where he owned product strategy and direction. Prior to UnboundID, Andy served as Senior Director of Product Management at Alterpoint and Director of Product Management at Sun Microsystems. His background also includes broad-based experience in marketing, product management, and sales at Motive, Vignette, Verizon, and Abbott Laboratories. Andy began his career as a United States Naval Officer and is a veteran of the first Gulf War. He is active in the Austin community, serving on the board of directors for The BeHive, a non-profit after-school program for children.

Emeka Obianwu, Vice President of Business Development

Emeka Obianwu leads partner, channel and other market expansion opportunities for the UnboundID Directory Services software platform. Prior to joining UnboundID, Emeka led Corporate Development for Troux Technologies, where he built strategic go-to-market alliances. Previously, he oversaw Business Development at BuildForge, which was acquired by IBM in 2006. Following the acquisition, Emeka worked with the IBM Rational business development team to identify new growth markets and channels for the IBM Rational brand. He is a seasoned executive in enterprise software and strategy consulting, and holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Jeff Bolke, Vice President of Sales

Jeff Bolke is an industry veteran with more than two decades of leadership and sales experience. At UnboundID he is responsible for generating new sales for industry-leading directory services solutions for cloud service providers, telecommunication providers, and enterprises. Jeff previously worked at Zag.com, where he was the Vice President of Business Development and Partner Management. His management experience includes driving rapid sales and financial growth through leadership roles, including private equity funding at DataCert and the initial public offering at Motive. Jeff also has an extensive background with executive sales and management positions at TIBCO, Trilogy Software, Landmark Graphics Corporation and IBM. Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Mike Poe, Vice President of Service Delivery

With over 20 years of management and technical experience with several of the world's leading technology and service companies, Mike is a proven leader. Prior to UnboundID, Mike was Vice President, Professional Services, at Pointserve, the leader in Economic Resource Optimization. He also served as Neogent's Vice President of IAM and ECM Delivery practices. Mike brings a strong background in professional services, technical support and training delivery based on his experience at key technology and service companies, including Sun Microsystems, Vignette, and Compaq.

Matthew Hemming, General Manager

Matthew manages the daily operations and strategic direction of the UnboundID European office. He is a seasoned IT managing director with 23 years of experience at the management level, working with leading technology services and solution providers. Prior to UnboundID, Matthew was the Managing Director Northern Europe for Motive, Inc. (now owned by Alcatel-Lucent), a provider of network manageability and serviceability solutions to telecommunications companies. Previously he served as Trilogy's Vice President of Sales for Europe and Client Services and later moved to 535X as Managing Director.

Corey Blahuta, Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer

As Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, Corey has primary responsibility for all aspects of financial management at UnboundID. Prior to joining UnboundID, Corey was the Managing Director for vcfo in Austin where he led the operations and client relations for over 50 companies in such industries as enterprise software, energy, life sciences, financial services, semiconductor and telecommunications. Previously, Corey served as the VP of Finance for CoVi Technologies, Inc. Corey currently serves as Past President and Statewide Treasurer of Texchange and has served on a number of other non-profit boards including terms as President of Reading is Fundamental of Austin (BookSpring), Treasurer of the Austin Technology Council and the Clean TX Foundation, and as a Board Member of the Trail Foundation. He and his family were the March of Dimes-Capital Area Ambassador Family for 2004. Corey received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Baylor University.

Dave Malcom, Vice President of Engineering

Dave provides strategic leadership for the software development team at UnboundID. Previously, he held executive product positions with Quest Software, Surgient, Motive Communications, and Tivoli Systems. Dave has nearly 25 years of experience leading the development of high technology products targeted to IT buyers. He has a lengthy track record of delivering to the industry a variety of software products ranging from operating systems to enterprise distributed systems. Dave is known for his ability to build and motivate teams to deliver world class software products while team members are achieving their personal career objectives. Mr. Malcolm is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
